BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Glass making birthday parties for up to a max 10 people (min. number of 6). Design and make a small fused glass panel using glass paints, frits and various glass accessories. Suitable for children aged 8 and over. £20 per person for a 2 hour workshop. Glass panels need to be fused overnight in glass kiln (so do not go home with you on the day). A suitable time will be arranged with you for the glass to be picked up/delivered when fused.

GLASS WORKSHOPS IN AYR Limited space, please call to book a space I run workshops at my my studio in Ayr for anyone interested in learning about fusing, microwave fusing or copper foiling (Tiffany style), leadwork and creating their own jewellery, mirror or window panels. This could be the first step to a new hobby or just having some fun with friends or a birthday party. There is no pressure to draw your own design, I can provide patterns if you would prefer. Classes are normally on a Saturday, but weekday classes are available on request. Dot Scott	1 DAY COPPER FOIL/ FUSING COURSE FOR ADULTS - £100 (inc materials & refreshments), 10am - 5pm Classes can be tailored to exactly what you would like to learn. Have fun learning to fuse glass in a domestic microwave or in a large glass kiln or learn the traditional skill of copper foiling. Make and take home some fused glass jewellery or a sun-catcher with fused and copper foil techniques. 2 DAY COPPER FOIL/LEAD COURSE FOR ADULTS- £200 for 2 days (inc. materials & refreshments) Learn the traditional techniques of stained glass and make a small copper foil/leaded panel to take home (max. size 5” sq). The first day will be learning to cut glass, finalising/choosing a design and cutting the glass for your panel. The second day will be preparing glass to foil, learning to solder and the important finishing touches. All classes run from 10am - 5pm each day. Maximum number of students in each class is 3. Please wear old clothes and sensible shoes and bring an old apron. Classes using lead or lead solder are not suitable for pregnant women. All classes are for complete beginners, unless otherwise requested. Please call to express interest and when there are sufficient numbers to run courses I will contact you to finalise dates.
